Jinal Sudhirbhai Mehta is a Chairman and Non-Executive Director on the Board of our Company. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business from University of Technology, Sydney. He is currently serving as the vice-chairman and managing director on the board of Torrent Power Limited and has over 20 years of experience in the power sector including generation, transmission and distribution across both licensed and franchised distribution businesses. His experience includes power generation projects, distribution operations, network modernisation initiatives and renewable energy projects. He is also currently serving as a director on the boards of Torrent Gujarat Titans Private Limited, Torrent Investments Limited (formerly known as Torrent Investments Private Limited), Torrent Pharmaceuticals Limited, Torrent Power Limited and Studio Sairish Private Limited.
Managing Director
Manoj Jain is a Managing Director on the Board of our Company. He has been associated with our Company since January 1, 2024. In our Company, he handles overall business strategy, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency and financial performance. He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical engineering branch) from University of Jodhpur, and a master’s degree in business administration (operations management) from Indira Gandhi National Open University. He has approximately 39 years of experience in the oil and natural gas sector. Prior to his association with our Company, he served as the chairman and managing director with GAIL (India) Limited.
Non-Executive Director
Varun Sudhir Mehta is a Non-Executive Director on the Board of our Company. He holds a bachelor’s degree of science (honours) in management from the University of Warwick and a master’s degree in business administration from INSEAD. He is currently serving as whole time director on the board of Torrent Power Limited, non-executive director on the board of Torrent Investments Limited (formerly known as Torrent Investments Private Limited) and is also serving as chairman on the board of Torrent Diagnostics Limited and Torrent Electricals Limited. He has over 17 years of experience in the power sector across renewables, thermal generation and distribution.

Pradip Manilal Kanakia is an Independent Director on the Board of our Company. He is a fellow member of ICAI. He has approximately 23 years of experience, and prior to his association with our Company, he served as the partner with BSR & Co. LLP, executive director with KPMG Assurance and Consulting Services LLP and the partner with Price Waterhouse & Co Chartered Accountants LLP. He is currently serving inter alia on the Boards of JM Financial Limited, ICRA Limited, Britannia Industries Limited, Camlin Fine Sciences Limited, Healthcare Global Enterprises Limited and Sona BLW Precision Forgings Limited.

Samir Kumar Barua is an Independent Director on the Board of our Company. He holds a master’s degree in technology (mechanical engineering) from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He has been conferred with “Fellow of the Indian Institute of Management” by the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He has over 36 years of experience in the education sector. Prior to his association with our Company, he served as the member of the faculty with Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and has also served as the director of Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He has also previously served inter alia on the board of Coal India Limited, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited, Indian Oil Corporation Limited, South Eastern Coalfields Limited, Torrent Power Limited, SBI Mutual Fund Trustee Company Private Limited, Axis Capital Limited and Axis Bank Limited.

Radhika Vijay Haribhakti is an Independent Director on the Board of our Company. She holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Gujarat University and a post graduate diploma in management from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. She has also completed ‘making corporate boards more effective’ from Harvard Business School. She has over 14 years of experience in the investment banking sector and prior to her association with our Company, she served as the executive director at JM Morgan Stanley Private Limited. She is also currently serving as an independent director on the board of Bajaj Finance Limited, Bajaj Finserv Limited, Dadar and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu Power Distribution Corporation Limited, Data Link Investment Manager Private Limited (formerly known as BIP India Infra Projects Management Services Private Limited), IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, NOCIL Limited and Torrent Power Limited.
